YTD 3-2-1 (+450)

Green Bay +3 5*

I was on Favre last week with the very disappointing loss. I know he isn't good in minny but i can't see him putting up another horrid performance there. Minnesota D have been giving early christmas presents to all the opposing offenses. Randy Moss gets healthier by the week, but this was a short week. In an important game like this, I'll take Favre over Culpepper anyday of the week.

***caution - I have been horrid in NBA L2nights going 0-3....maybe in a slump....i really like this play though***

play or fade, Good Luck in whatever you do....and have a merry christmas...

I would've taken Favre over Culpepper too....about 5 years ago. Frankly, I don't see what everyone sees in Favre. All he does is make bad decisions and throws the ball as long and as hard as he can and hopes one of his receivers catches it. That's why he gets picked off so often. I admire his competitve juices but think he's the most over-rated QB in the league and has been for years. The Packers haven't beaten anyone all year, absolutely nobody unless you want to include a nail biter over Detroit, not to mention losses to Chicago, the Giants and Tennesee. They've had the NFL's easiest schedule and have beaten just one team over.500, that being these same Vikes, in Green Bay, minus Moss. Against the three other teams they've played over 5oo, they had their asses handed to them. How can you feel "strong" about this team? I wouldn't feel strong about them if they were playing the Timberwolves. They'll travel here on a short week and have performed horrible in domes.

Just my opinion, nothing more, nothing less.
Good luck anyway and Merry Christmas.

Sherwood: I feel exactly the same about Favre. He is the most overrated QB in the league and living on his past reputation.

we all get old, and think were still young

it happens to all of us and the pro QB as well, just try to hang on too long. They still put up a good game once in a while, but like the fallen befor them, they are playing past their time

viks today

glta and xmas to all and to all a good night

I would also disagree on the most overrated QB comment. He does often try to do too much, but this is due to the fact that the GB defense is poor and the Packers are continually playing from behind. How many QB's can you say have not had an under .500 season for a dozen straight years? Not many, that might be the most impressive accomplishment of Brett's career. Just wait for Brett's successor, a no win situation for whoever takes over.

Again, Faver most overrated???

Some guys should be allowed to post when drinking as Stud is one of the Top 3 all-time greats and Bradshaw just said he is the greatest he has ever seen ....

The Over-rated qb (if you can call him that) title belongs to Vick ...

again the refs f*ck the vikings. everyone in the stadium....the fans, the players, the coaches, the people watching at home, the broadcasters on tv and most importantly....the refs for sure....knew that was not a first down at the end of the 2nd half. But Favre is a pretty boy who sucks everyone's coc*k so he gets his way. Pack don't deserve to win again. Vikes D sucks but so does the NFL refs...........

An angry vikings fan.

No one cries more about the refs than Vikings fans. I live in Mn, and you can bet everyone will be calling and crying how the game was stolen from them. Maybe if you stop someone, you wont have to worry about a bad call here and there? They all even out. Go to Wash and win, and you make the playoffs...oh yeah, they had to do that last year and lost to a lowly AZ team. Tice has one more game to coach, and he will be on a plane back to the Pacific Northwest.

wheres sherwood with the favre makes poor decisions, he engineered yet another game winning drive and was absolutely pummeled to the ground on his last throw. unlike cullpepper who stood in the pocker for an hour, with plenty of field to run in, yet decided to wait to see if his lazy receivers would move for him.

experience prevailed over youth today

Yeah, but Culpepper will NEVER win a Super Bowl. He has an under .500 won-loss record with that offense? He couldn't and never will be able to tote Favre's jock.
